A NEW ALBUM FROM LUKA. OUT OF NOWHERE I have known Richard Poot for some years as a producer, arranger, master in the mix, piano and synthesiser player and owner of Pro Music Studio here in the Netherlands. He has a heart full of gold that opened the door for me, giving me access to his studio with all of his wonderful musical artists like Frank Stukker on guitar, Dave van Beek on drums, Xandre Buvelot on bass guitar, Martijn Luttmer on mouth organ and above all, Erno Olah on violin . (Not to forget our back ground singers Caby and Sandra) and (not wanting anyone to know) Richard doing his tralala when no one was around! All of these have worked with great names are who are themselves the greatest. They helped make my dreams come true with the songs I have written and carried in my suitcase for years; travelling around the globe singing both my own and also many cover songs. .I was able to make just enough money to keep on singing and writing: in the beginning on the streets and later in hotels and restaurants, some with one star and others with five, but always with my heart in every song. Even though I am not the best guitar player in the world, they could make it sound as if I was! Not so long ago we released an album called “LUKA”, with great sounds of which a singer song writer only can dream. Richard and I became great friends in the studio and so when the album “LUKA” was released we decided to go on with Proza - I had written this so many years ago and sometimes tried it to music but my heart always said “No, no, no that’s not what I wanted to hear.” A whole album was bought out by a German record company as a raving spirit but was not great. When Richard and I went for it -yes! It was like a creative light that came pouring down on us as if we were both in a trance; with Richard on the synthesiser and me closing my eyes to words that came through me, and all of a sudden, as if by magic, all was one in our creation.. And many tracks were recorded - sometimes three in one recording session, to which Richard composed such wonderful background music letting my voice say what it wanted to say. All was one voice - one ray of light. Listening at home again and again I started to play with it and put some of my songs from my album “LUKA” between the tracks, and it sounded the way I had dreamed of. Soon there were eighteen tracks - a kind of Odyssey: the life I lived. iI see it all as a gift from the Gods of Existence. There was magic in the air for me to share. i will bringing it out on CD of course, Spottify and so many others. Also it will be on radio -small or large stations - it does not matter for interviews . TV stations are welcome too.... And if there is someone out there that thinks “My God! Together with one of Lukas books like “Born to Die” makes a beautiful documentary or film then call me. My mission is complete . Once I was in places where nobody should have been; some 50 years ago now in Australia. I did what I had to do - it was a very long journey from darkness to light. Always I kept saying to my self “Ive got promises to keep and miles to go before I sleep” (David Frost). Now I am nearly 80 years old. The road was long and stopped when i walked through the doors of PRO MUSIC STUDIO Netherlands . Thank you friends! Thank you so much Richard Poot.
